ADMITTED TO AMERICAN COLLEGE OF TRIAL LAWYERS

SEPTEMBER 29, 2024 – Daniel J. Song, K.C., has become a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, one of the premier legal associations in the United States and Canada.

Approximately 900 Fellows and guests from across North America gathered at the 2024 Annual Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee, to discuss issues important to the profession and to induct 88 new Fellows, including Daniel.

Daniel was also honoured to deliver a speech on behalf of the inductees at the ceremony, after the Fellows had heard from eminent speakers during the Annual Meeting, including Hon. Albert A. Gore, Jr. (former U.S. Vice-President), the Honourable George R. Strathy (former Chief Justice of Ontario), and Bill Whitaker (60 Minutes and CBS News correspondent).

About ACTL

Founded in 1950, the College is composed of the best of the trial bar from the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Fellowship in the College is extended by invitation only and only after careful investigation, to those experienced trial lawyers of diverse backgrounds, who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility and collegiality. Lawyers must have a minimum of 15 years trial experience before they can be considered for Fellowship.

Membership in the College is limited to no more than one percent of the total lawyer population of any state or province.

The College is the only organization in which every Justice of the United States Supreme Court and the Supreme Court of Canada has accepted Honorary Fellowship.
