She negotiated with Crown Prosecutors, filed pre-trial applications, and represented dozens of people through to the resolution of their matters.

In her third year, Susannah was one of two students selected to shadow justices of the Alberta Court of Appeal. She served as a Writing Fellow, teaching legal research and writing skills to first-year law students. She also worked for a local criminal appeals firm, writing appellate arguments for the Ontario and Alberta Courts of Appeal, as well as the Supreme Court of Canada.

Susannah understands that the criminal justice system can be overwhelming, frightening, and difficult to navigate on your own. She looks forward to helping you understand your options and providing practical, straightforward legal advice to help you find a way forward.
